Grown from the famous Dragon Ride L’Etape Wales, the Dragon Tour gives riders the chance to experience stage riding over two or three days. This exclusive destination cycling long weekend gives just 750 riders the chance to extend their Dragon Ride experience. Please note: this event is an open road sportive.

New for 2018, the Dragon Tour took place from the Glanusk Estate; the site of filming of some of the UK’s most popular TV shows including Top Gear, at the foot of the Black Mountains. This dramatic backdrop sets the scene for three days of technically challenging and stunning cycling in South Wales. Please note: Dragon Tour 2019 location is yet to be confirmed.

Entry packages for the Tour (which include the cost of entering the Dragon Ride) do not include accommodation. The 2019 event venue is not yet confirmed. There is information on accommodation options available here.
